Blessed Sacrament

(Ward of St. Laurence)

 

The Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament (CBS) finds its roots in the Catholic revival within the Church of England. Founded in 1862, its vision remains to seek to foster greater devotion to the real presence of Christ's body and blood in the bread and wine of the Eucharist.

At St Laurence, a ward of the CBS meets locally to foster this devotion, coming together in worship in order to be fed by Christ in both Word and Sacrament.
