The Churchyard
At St Laurence, not only are we blessed with having an 11th century church, we are blessed also with having a beautiful churchyard. The churchyard has stood on the site since the beginning of the church's life, and in 1953 it was made into a place of amenity.
Each day, many people pass through our churchyard as they go about their daily lives. Many take the opportunity to stop and to sit in this garden that offers a place of quiet and refreshment.
