Father Alan M. Cole SSC (Vicar)

Educated in Melbourne and ordained in Ballarat, Australia, Father Cole was a school chaplain in England for six years before spending nine years as chaplain to British embassies in Bonn, Helsinki, Moscow and Ulan Bator. He has extensive diplomatic and ecumenical experience, having represented a former Archbishop of Canterbury and the Patriarch of Moscow to each other. In the late 1980's, Father Cole received honours from both Pope John Paul II and Patriarch Pimen of Moscow. For several years he was secretary of the Anglican and Old Catholic Bishops conferences in Trier. Father Cole also spent time as a Parish Priest in Australia, before becoming Vicar of Holy Trinity in 1997.
