Our Roof Fund Appeal

The external work has now been completed in 2023 at a cost of over £85,000 pounds. We have managed to repair and restore the valley gutters between the roofs of our church to stop any more water ingress. Unfortually due to finding the valley gutters leaking and raising the money to repair, years of water ingress has unfortually damaged the lime plaster and paintwork on the internal of the  church.

So we are starting to raise money to repair the internal of the church which will cost in excess of £40,00

The Church of St Laurence is the oldest building in the town of Long Eaton, offering a little oasis of calm next to the busy market place. The distinctive triple roof is one of a number of striking architectural features of the church, as is the fourteenth-century, fortress-like tower.
